Linda Uruburu (author) has been a professional musician, music publisher, and artist manager for most of her adult life. Her hobby and part-time profession is designing patchwork. In the late 1990s, she discovered writing. Her first collection of children’s stories, “Animal Stories for Children” and “Maximillian Snail’s Wonderful Rainy Day,” were published in the German language by Baumhaus Verlag in 2008. Her lyric writing was featured on two CDs, “Collective Memory” (2015) and “Movin’ On” (2017) by Helen Schneider. In 2019, her middle-grade children’s book “Lenny’s Summertime Adventures” was the first prize winner in the Center for Basque Studies literary contest and was published by CBS. In 2022, her story, “The Colorful World of Frida Kato,” illustrated by Helen Schneider, was released by Nightingale Books.
